Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

And So it Begins...

This year has been a little hectic, thus far.  I work full time and attend school part time, so my available hours are often limited.  That being said, I don't consider it an excuse for my failure to do with this group all that I had planned.  Now, however, as things have calmed or I've just hit my stride, I'm finding time to be much easier to manage.  Either way, I'd love to get some more Administrators in here to help me run the day to day operations, so if that's your sort of thing, just let me know.

Now, as for the challenges, I've developed the first few challenges already.  I'm fairly excited to put them into action.  Challenge number 1 will begin on March 1st and run through March 31st.  I'm not going to tell you what it is, or even give you a hint, but to say that it should be fun and it will certainly be a challenge.  Following that, I'm planning to launch one challenge a month unless the demand arises for more.  I'd also like to launch monthly prompts also.

It's time to pick this group up and launch it into orbit as I had planned.  I'm hoping you're looking forward to it as much as I am.  So what can you do to help?  Tell your poetry writing friends to join up, we're looking to expand.  The bigger our challenges get, the more fun they will be.  If you're interested in helping out on the Administration side, send me a note, I'd love to hear from you.
